it's me again sorry

i would like to put allowance negative in my thread milling, and i use this toolshttps://www.sorotec.de/shop/Cutting-Too ... ng-cutter/


in the file this is how I program it for the M8/125 but i can't screw it.
i use a postpro eding cnc atc.

thanks you and sorry for my english is not my native langage and it's difficult for me.

Hello Stephane,

The thread depth of 0.6mm corresponds to the nominal dimension.
however a thread is milled larger. that is, the threads are in each case milled deeper.
For example at a M8.-Inner thread you would mill with a thread depth of 0.677mm instead of 0.6 mm.
Corresponding thread depths for inner threads and outer threads you can find either in the web oder in tablebooks.
Here I´ve been find a website (in german) for the M8 thread:

To the right are diverse dimensions for the 8M-Inner thread. The parameter "Gewindetiefe H"(Thread depth) specifies the production depth.

In this table the thread depth for the M8-Inner thread ("Gewindetiefe Mutter") is even specified with 0.68mm ...
