This instruction only refers to an 45 degree chamfer and a 45 degree chamfer cutter.
With closed contours
Select a contour => 2,5 Axis milling => profiling
Tab card milling parameter
- Allowance on contour: “Please enter here the chamfer width with (-sign).”
- whole step “Here you enter the chamfer width plus a smaller addition.”
- Infeed per step: Here you can enter 0.”
- Cutter radius compensation: “Climb and up-cut milling”.
- closed contours: Select “outside or inside” .
